PR day 1
We woke up early to head out to Fajardo, where we would take a boat to Isla de Culebra & snorkel.
The ride out was rougher than I expected. I don't do great on boats anyway, so feeling my stomach drop multiple times wasn't a great feeling. Laughing about it w/ Andrew, Caroline & Ed made up for it though.
It was beautiful. Beautiful isn't even an accurate word for it- I'm pretty sure one doesn't exist.
The water was the perfect temperature- and crystal clear. Almost a robin's egg blue...Caribbean blue I guess. Andrew & I did a lot of snorkeling at both locations. It was like flying.
I could hear myself breathing through the tube, but it was so calming as soon as I put my head under water....I could feel the waves, watch the coral & the life around it. We had flippers on too, so that made navigating very easy.
The music was loud on the boat- but it was good. There was salsa, mariachi, reggae & PPP.
I was so grateful to be in that moment with those people. I still am.
